The Marlins and Cardinals square off tonight in a battle of teams who both wanted Fat Albert, but didn't get him. What kind of a depressing story is that to start the season with. Like I know, the Cardinals won it all last year, and the Marlins have a whole new look and stuff, but honestly can't we open it up with some Sox Yankees, or how about a new fun potential rivalry like Angels Rangers, they're both pretty good ball clubs, plus at least the Angels got big Al. The real story of tonight's game will be the Marlins uniforms, they are all new, and they are funky. Honestly, the orange doesn't get it done for me, just not my color. The black however, I am a big fan. Freshest MLB uniforms around in my opinion. Sure you got a couple other good ones like the Brewers and the Nationals, but I think these will be the best in the league bar none, just dripping with swag. Maybe there will be two good baseball teams in florida this year, hell, its one of the only places left in the country that still loves their highschool baseball, we might as well give them something else to be happy about.
