Just when you thought it couldn't get any easier for the blueshirt faithful to completely raid Islanders games and take over their arena, they move even closer to Manhattan and farther from their 35 fans in Nassau County. Provided theres actually a season in 2015, (when the move to the Barclays Center is scheduled) an unmitigated disaster is approaching Islanders fan/fans. Not only will they share an arena with the Nets, but they will officially complete the making of Madison Square Garden jr by sharing the Barclays Center with Jay-Z's NBA boys in Brooklyn.
But at least its better than Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Pictured above). I mean that thing looks like the Metrodome after its roof collapsed. But without Favre, and even less public funding.
The only good thing that Islanders fans can look forward to is seeing these
beautiful black alternate jerseys in their new home
